Welcome to REST Counselling

REST Counselling is a relationship counselling service in Auckland (and starting to reach out across the country) that specialises in helping couples rediscover and build lasting love. We have a team of counsellors in private practice many of whom are accredited Family Court counsellors which means their clients are eligible for up to 6 hours of free counselling funded by the Family Court (more . . . ). Our network of 'love gurus' are specialist relationship counsellors with whom you can feel confident to begin to heal and restore your relationship.

Relationship Counselling has evolved significantly over the last 15 years with the convergence of cutting edge brain research, the publication of a series of 20-30 year longitudinal studies on marriage, divorce and attachement. Counsellor Profile - Central Auckland

Steven is a certified Imago Relationship therapist. His philosophy is that it is much easier to have a good relationship than a bad one and he loves coaching couples with the core skills required to move through conflict in to connection. He has a particular interest in working with men. Steven also works with individuals struggling in relationships or after a break up. He facilitates 2 groups for individuals and is excitedly looking forward to launching a couples group in February 2012 (watch this space).
